They’re looking for seasoned revenue cycle leaders—think VP, Sr. Director, or RCM-focused finance executives—to lend their strategic expertise in evaluating and guiding AI tools that aim to streamline end-to-end revenue cycle operations. This is a remote, contract role where your insights will directly shape AI solutions that improve financial outcomes for healthcare organizations.
What You'll Do8
- 1Provide high-level strategic direction and oversight across the full revenue cycle—from patient access and coding to billing, denials, and collections.
- 2Review AI-generated analyses and recommendations for revenue cycle performance, assessing their accuracy and real-world feasibility.
- 3Evaluate AI-powered tools designed to automate workflows, detect revenue leakage, and optimize payer reimbursement.
- 4Define and track enterprise-level revenue cycle KPIs such as net collection rate, days in A/R, denial rate, cost-to-collect, and cash collections.
- 5Develop and execute revenue cycle improvement strategies that align with organizational financial goals.
- 6Oversee managed care contracting and payer relationship management, ensuring strong reimbursement outcomes.
- 7Collaborate with clinical, finance, compliance, and IT leadership to integrate revenue cycle initiatives with broader organizational priorities.
- 8Annotate AI outputs and provide structured strategic feedback to help train and refine AI models.
Requirements5
- 1At least 10 years of progressive revenue cycle leadership, including 5+ years in a VP, Sr. Director, or equivalent executive role.
- 2Deep, end-to-end knowledge of revenue cycle operations—front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end functions.
- 3Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in P&L management, budget oversight, and financial performance reporting.
- 4A proven track record of leading large-scale revenue cycle transformation in health systems, hospitals, or large physician groups.
- 5Extensive familiarity with managed care contracting, payer relations, and reimbursement optimization strategies.
