• A teaching license or certification that carries a science endorsement.
• Two or more years teaching science in a classroom.
• Deep command of at least one discipline: biology, chemistry, physics or earth science.
• Written English strong enough to set out scientific reasoning so a peer teacher can track each step.
• Willingness to commit at least 10 hours per week.
• Preferred: experience teaching advanced courses such as AP, IB or equivalents.
• Preferred: background in lab design and inquiry based instruction.
• Preferred: mentoring students through science fairs or research projects.
