What You'll Do5
- Build detailed grading rubrics for essays, problem sets, assignments and multi-step reasoning tasks.
- Write sample student responses at several proficiency levels, each paired with structured feedback.
- Draft short research briefs covering common misconceptions, cognitive scaffolds and teaching strategies.
- Design instructional materials such as guided inquiry sequences, reading comprehension exercises and breakdowns of complex problems.
- Review AI model outputs and flag problems with reasoning, structure, clarity or pedagogy.
Requirements7
- Two or more years teaching, tutoring or building curriculum at the high school level.
- Solid grasp of rubric design, assessment standards and adolescent pedagogy.
- Track record of grading student work and explaining feedback with clear reasoning.
- Genuine interest in shaping AI tools built for education.
- Preferred: AP or IB curriculum design or standards alignment experience.
- Preferred: a degree in education, English, math, science, history or a related field.
- Preferred: background in instructional design, literacy development, or coaching debate, math or writing competitions.
