Requirements7

• A teaching license or certification that carries a primary education endorsement.
• At least two years of classroom teaching at the primary level.
• Solid grounding in early literacy and numeracy instruction.
• Written English clear enough to make pedagogical reasoning easy for another teacher to follow.
• Availability of 10 or more hours per week on an ongoing basis.
• Training in structured literacy or the science of reading helps, as does experience across several primary grades.
• Prior work as a mentor teacher or team lead is a plus.

Who Should Apply

Primary teachers with two or more years in the classroom who can explain why a lesson works, not just that it does. You know early literacy and numeracy well enough to catch a model's bad call on a kindergarten or second grade task.
