Reviewing model output for accuracy, level fit and teaching soundness fills out the rest of the week. Hours stay flexible above a 10 hour floor, the work runs remote and async, and payouts land through Stripe each week.
What You'll Do6
- Write ESL teaching scenarios that mirror real classroom situations, from early literacy through academic proficiency.
- Compose reference answers that show the reasoning behind each instructional decision, not just the final call.
- Grade model responses for factual accuracy, fit to the target proficiency level and sound teaching practice.
- Flag explanations that read as correct yet would leave a language learner confused or misled.
- Set out pedagogical reasoning in clear written English so reviewers can follow your judgment.
- Adjust scenarios to cover different learner levels and age groups when a project calls for it.
Requirements8
- TEFL, TESOL or CELTA certification, or a state ESL teaching license.
- Two or more years of ESL teaching in a classroom or online setting.
- Depth in lesson planning, error correction and proficiency assessment.
- Written English clear enough to document the reasoning behind an instructional choice.
- Availability of at least 10 hours per week.
- Preferred: experience teaching several proficiency levels or age groups.
- Preferred: exam prep background in IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge.
- Preferred: curriculum or materials development work.
