Overview
This remote contract role focuses on reviewing React and Next.js code, frontend architectures, and AI-generated explanations. You will produce high-quality reference implementations and step-by-step reasoning to guide AI training and improve model performance. Evaluate solutions for correctness, clarity, accessibility, security, and performance across SSR/SSG/ISR patterns and routing. - 6Rate and compare multiple AI responses, assigning scores for correctness and reasoning quality.
- 7Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure outputs align with frontend standards and accessibility guidelines.
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in computer science or software engineering.
- 24+ years building production web apps with React, including 2+ years with Next.js or equivalent SSR framework.
- 3Expert-level proficiency with modern React concepts, including hooks, component patterns, state management, memoization, rendering behavior, and testing.
- 4Solid Next.js fundamentals (App Router, Server Components, route handlers, middleware, caching, deployment).
- 5Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, browser rendering, security basics like XSS/CSRF), cookies/sessions, and OAuth flows.
- 6Performance-minded approach to bundle optimization, code splitting, image optimization, Core Web Vitals, and profiling.
- 7Experience with testing and quality tools (Jest/Vitest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress), linting, and CI/CD.
- 8Minimum C1 English proficiency for writing clear technical explanations and following guidelines.
- 9Proven ability to conduct detailed code reviews and enforce coding standards for maintainability, correctness, and accessibility.
- 10Prior AI data training experience with AI training data or evaluating AI-generated content is a strong plus.
- 11Highly detail-oriented and methodical in evaluating reasoning quality within complex UI code.
