QA Automation Engineer – Web3 (Europe)

What You'll Do8

• Design test cases for web and mobile builds, then execute them across Chrome, Safari, and a range of device types.
• Own the recurring regression cycle, sweeping core flows each day and surfacing drift before it reaches release.
• Verify wallet connections through MetaMask, Trust Wallet, and WalletConnect, covering transaction signing and the boundary between on-chain and off-chain state.
• Test smart contracts and exchange integrations end to end, following connect flows comparable to Coinbase.
• Stand up and maintain test accounts, credentials, and staging environments as the product changes.
• Write and maintain automated tests in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• File bugs in Linear or Jira with crisp repro steps and supporting evidence, then track each one to closure.
• Coordinate with engineers and QA peers working across US, Europe, and India time zones.

Requirements9

• 3 to 5 years in QA or quality engineering, with hands-on manual and automated testing.
• Track record testing web and mobile apps across browsers and devices.
• Strong test-case design, execution, and regression discipline, including ownership of recurring sweeps.
• Working knowledge of Web3 flows: wallet connections, transaction signing, and on-chain versus off-chain behavior.
• Direct experience testing smart contracts and wallets.
• Experience testing third-party exchange (CEX) integrations end to end.
• Comfort provisioning test accounts, credentials, and environments.
• Scripting at a working level in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Clear written English and ease collaborating across US, Europe, and India time zones.

Preferred Qualifications6

• Playwright or Cypress hands-on, writing and maintaining suites rather than only running them
• Test runs wired into CI/CD via GitHub Actions or CircleCI
• Work with testnets or mocked Web3 providers
• AI dev tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude for drafting tests
• Blockchain explorers for confirming on-chain state
• Prior experience at an early-stage startup
