QA Automation Engineer – Web3

What You'll Do9

• Run recurring daily regression sweeps and functional passes on web and mobile builds.
• Design test cases that cover wallet connection, transaction signing, and on-chain versus off-chain paths.
• Verify exchange and third-party integration flows end to end, from account connect through settlement.
• Write and maintain automated tests rather than only executing existing suites.
• Check releases across browsers such as Chrome and Safari and across multiple device types.
• Set up and manage test accounts, credentials, and the environments each test run needs.
• Log defects in Linear or Jira with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Pair with developers and product staff across US, Europe, and India time zones to close issues.
• Confirm on-chain state through blockchain explorers when a test result needs proof.

Requirements9

• 3 to 5 years in QA or quality engineering, covering manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on testing of web and mobile applications, including cross-browser and cross-device checks.
• Discipline in test case design, execution, and regression coverage, with ownership of recurring sweeps.
• Practical knowledge of Web3 flows: wallet connections (MetaMask, Trust Wallet, WalletConnect), transaction signing, and the split between on-chain and off-chain behavior.
• Direct experience testing smart contracts and wallet interactions.
• Track record testing third-party or exchange (CEX) integrations end to end, such as Coinbase-style connect flows.
• Ability to provision and manage test accounts, credentials, and environments.
• Scripting at a working level in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Strong written English for async collaboration across distributed time zones.

Preferred Qualifications6

• Hands-on Playwright or Cypress work, writing and maintaining tests rather than running them
• Running tests inside CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or CircleCI
• Experience with testnets or mocking Web3 providers
• Use of AI dev tools like Copilot, Cursor, or Claude to speed up test authoring
• Comfort reading blockchain explorers to verify on-chain state
• Prior startup or fast-moving product experience
