Overview

You'll audit AI-generated work product in finance and insurance, not create it. For each item, you review the complete task, the AI agent's response, and a grader's scoresheet, then answer four pointed questions about realism, domain accuracy, grading consistency, and score defensibility. Each evaluation is designed to take about an hour, and you never redo the work yourself. Since the tasks revolve around U.S. market specifics, your command of *SEC*, *FINRA*, and state insurance rules will directly determine your success.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Review the AI agent's full submission for a finance or insurance task, including the original prompt, the agent's actions, output files, and the grader's evaluation sheet.
  • 2Judge whether the task scenario is a realistic workplace assignment or feels contrived, drawing on your day-to-day experience.
  • 3Verify the accuracy and internal consistency of domain content, including figures, regulations, and constraints that only a practitioner would spot as off.
  • 4Scrutinize the grader's eleven yes/no questions and answers, identifying any disagreements with the files and reasoning behind them.
  • 5Assign your own quality band to the work and compare it to the reported score, providing a brief written justification for every decision.

Requirements8

  • 1Financial Managers: 5+ years owning a budget, forecast, or close as a controller, FP&A lead, or finance director.
  • 2Securities, Commodities & Financial Services Sales Agents: Active Series 7 plus Series 63 or 66, and 4+ years placing trades or running your own book.
  • 3Personal Financial Advisors: 4+ years advising client households, with CFP or Series 65 preferred.
  • 4Financial & Investment Analysts: 3+ years building models that influenced real decisions; CFA is a plus.
  • 5Customer Service Representatives: 4+ years on a bank, brokerage, or insurance carrier service desk, handling claims, policy changes, or account servicing.
  • 6Near-native business English for writing concise, clear rationales.
  • 7Comfort with spreadsheets and PDFs to verify numbers and reconcile data.
  • 8Deep knowledge of U.S. market regulations specific to your track, including SEC, FINRA, or state insurance rules.

Who Should Apply

Practitioners who have spent years in the trenches, reviewing juniors' work, signing off on suitability files, or sitting through audits, will find this role a natural extension of their judgment. It is not a fit for researchers who only consume analysis without producing it, or for professionals trained outside the US market, since the tasks hinge on SEC, FINRA, and state insurance specifics. Common rejection reasons include lacking the required certifications (e.g., Series 7, 63, or 66) or failing to demonstrate the 3-5 years of hands-on experience your chosen track demands.

Salary Insight

The rate is $75 to $90 per hour, which sits well above typical microtask compensation because it pays for deep professional expertise, not rote evaluation. This falls in the range of what consultants charge for domain-specific review work, so you can expect it to be a premium contract rather than a part-time gig.

Retail and Pharmacy Practice Reviewer

This role pays working professionals in pharmacy, private investigation, and retail management to audit AI outputs in their own domain. Your focus is on judging whether the task is realistic, whether the domain content is accurate, whether the grading stands up, and whether the final score is justifiable. Each evaluation takes about an hour, and you never perform the task yourself. Instead, you rely on the same judgment you exercise daily to prevent errors from reaching customers.

Manufacturing Operations Reviewer

Manufacturing professionals with real-world experience review AI outputs from their own trade, not to create them. Each task shows the AI agent's full attempt, including its original brief, the files it generated, and the scoresheet from an automated grader. Your job is to judge whether the task itself is realistic, whether the domain content is accurate down to the smallest regulation or figure, and whether the grader's eleven yes/no questions led to a defensible score. You'll spend about an hour per item, and you never redo the agent's work.
