Overview

Mercor seeks experienced Nurse Practitioners to assess and refine AI-generated clinical content. You will apply your diagnostic and treatment expertise to judge assessments, care plans, and patient education materials. This remote role runs for about 4 to 6 weeks, starting right away. You need to commit at least 20 hours each week.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Evaluate AI-generated clinical assessments and treatment plans for accuracy and clinical soundness.
  • 2Assess patient education materials and other healthcare artifacts for quality.
  • 3Compare AI responses side by side based on clinical reasoning and adherence to guidelines.
  • 4Review scenarios involving diagnosis, treatment planning, medication decisions, and patient education.
  • 5Provide detailed expert feedback on all evaluated content.

Requirements5

  • 14+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, or a similar advanced practice nursing role.
  • 2Active RN licensure with specialized graduate education in nursing.
  • 3Experience diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illness.
  • 4Ability to commit 20+ hours per week.
  • 5Strong written English communication skills.

Who Should Apply

Bring your 4+ years of advanced practice nursing experience and active RN license to this project. The ideal candidate has a graduate nursing degree and a track record of managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions. You also need strong written English and at least 20 or more hours each week for 4 to 6 weeks. This role is less suitable for early-career NPs, those without an active RN license, or anyone unable to meet the time commitment. Hiring managers reject candidates who fall short of the 4-year experience threshold or submit writing samples with unclear clinical reasoning.

Salary Insight

This role pays $70 to $110 per hour. That range matches what senior advanced practice nurses earn for AI evaluation work, with the upper end reserved for NPs who have deep acute or chronic care expertise. Payment starts task-based upon first task approval. Complete that first task within the given timeline, and you qualify for hourly pay for the rest of the project.
