Overview
This full-time remote role is built for recent graduates who want to grow by shipping real production systems. You will work across React, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and AWS to build internal tools, services, and AI-powered products that support engineering, operations, and recruiting teams. Expect to start with guided contributions and gradually take ownership of critical platform features. You will collaborate with experienced engineers who help you sharpen your judgment on tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and maintain fullstack features that power internal workflows and platform capabilities.
- 2Write clean backend services and APIs while picking up scalable engineering patterns.
- 3Create frontend interfaces that internal teams and end users rely on daily.
- 4Take part in data modeling and database tuning, including schema design and query performance.
- 5Work with product, operations, and design partners to turn ideas into production-ready features.
- 6Raise engineering quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and ongoing improvements.
- 7Debug production issues and learn how to build systems that are resilient and observable.
- 8Develop engineering judgment by weighing speed, scalability, and maintainability in your decisions.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, recently completed or nearing completion.
- 2Internship, co-op, research, or substantial personal project experience building software applications.
- 3Solid fundamentals in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- 4Comfort with frontend development using React or similar frameworks.
- 5Familiarity with backend development using Node.js; NestJS is a plus.
- 6Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and core data modeling concepts.
- 7Knowledge of RESTful APIs and how distributed applications communicate.
- 8Exposure to Git and modern software development workflows.
- 9Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.
- 10Eagerness to learn fast and contribute in a fast-moving engineering environment.
Who Should Apply
The ideal candidate is a recent or soon-to-be graduate with hands-on experience from an internship, co-op, research project, or personal build. You should be comfortable with JavaScript or TypeScript, have used React and Node.js, and understand PostgreSQL basics. This role is less suitable for engineers who already have years of professional fullstack experience or who prefer highly structured, slow-moving environments. Candidates often get rejected when they cannot show concrete project work or when their resume lists technologies without evidence of how they used them. Another common reason for low fit scores is not demonstrating familiarity with RESTful APIs or relational data modeling.
Salary Insight
The posting lists a pay range of $60 to $80 per hour for this full-time position. The company also mentions a base salary range of $110,000 to $150,000 USD, equity compensation, performance-based bonuses, and benefits including health insurance reimbursement, paid time off, and a 401(K) with company match.

Application Tip
Highlight at least one project where you built a fullstack feature using React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. In your resume bullet, name the exact technologies and include a measurable result, such as reducing query time by 30% or handling 1,000 requests per day. This directly matches the core stack and shows you can connect code to outcomes.
