Neurologist
Listing checked October 24, 2026 · pay as published by Mercor
Overview
Mercor partners with a leading AI lab to test how well health models handle real neurology questions, and the company needs board-certified neurologists to sit in the reviewer seat. Your day centers on de-identified patient charts: you read the case, compare the model's answer against the documented record, and rule on whether the clinical reasoning holds up. ABPN Neurology expertise drives every judgment call, from spotting a missed contraindication to confirming that a recommended workup matches current standards of care. Work happens remote and hourly, so you set a part-time schedule around your existing practice. Start date is immediate.
What You'll Do7
- 1Score AI-generated answers to neurology questions on clinical accuracy, safety, and fit with accepted standards of care
- 2Read de-identified patient charts and hold each model response against the documented history, labs, imaging, and medications
- 3Compare two competing responses to the same question and pick the stronger one, with reasoning
- 4Write structured rationales that address clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity of the answer under review
- 5Call out errors that could put a patient at risk if a clinician acted on the model's output
- 6Apply your own patient-care experience to judge whether a recommendation is realistic in a US practice setting
- 7Keep judgments consistent across cases so reviewers and lab partners can compare results
Requirements7
- 1MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- 2Board certification in ABPN Neurology through an ABMS member board or the AOA
- 3Active, unrestricted US medical license
- 4Completed residency, plus a fellowship where your specialty calls for one
- 5Currently seeing patients in the US, with at least 1 year of independent practice after training
- 63 or more years of post-training experience strongly preferred
- 7Clear writing and close attention to detail when documenting clinical reasoning
Who Should Apply
Practicing, board-certified neurologists who still see patients and want part-time remote work that uses real clinical judgment. Three or more years past training and a sharp eye for chart detail will set you apart. Strong written reasoning matters as much as diagnostic skill here.
