Psychiatrist
Listing checked October 24, 2026 · pay as published by Mercor
Overview
Mercor partners with a leading AI lab to test health models before they reach clinicians and patients, and this role puts a practicing psychiatrist at the center of that review. You read de-identified patient charts, then judge how well AI answers hold up against current standards of care in psychiatry. Each judgment needs a written rationale covering clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity. The work runs remote on flexible part-time hours, with an immediate start once credential checks clear.
What You'll Do7
- 1Review AI responses to psychiatry questions and score them for clinical accuracy, safety, and alignment with current standards of care.
- 2Compare two candidate answers to the same question and pick the stronger one, backed by the patient chart.
- 3Write structured rationales that explain your reasoning on clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity.
- 4Read de-identified patient records and check each AI answer against the documented history, symptoms, and treatment.
- 5Flag any error that could put a patient at risk and note why it fails.
- 6Keep your judgments consistent across charts so reviewers can compare results.
- 7Complete credential verification steps, including license status, board certification, and current practice setting.
Requirements7
- 1MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- 2Board certification in ABPN Psychiatry through an ABMS member board or the AOA.
- 3Active, unrestricted US medical license.
- 4Completed residency, plus a fellowship where your specialty requires one.
- 5Currently seeing patients in the US, with at least one year of independent practice after training.
- 6Three or more years of post-training experience strongly preferred.
- 7Clear written communication and close attention to detail.
Who Should Apply
Board-certified psychiatrists who still see patients and want part-time remote work that uses their clinical judgment. If you hold an active unrestricted US license and can write clear rationales for your decisions, this fits.

Your day centers on de-identified patient charts: you read the case, compare the model's answer against the documented record, and rule on whether the clinical reasoning holds up. AfterQuery
VerifiedPsychiatrist Expert Clinical Review
AfterQuery supplies the evaluation and training data that frontier AI labs rely on to sharpen model behavior, and this project centers on mental health. You join a three-week review push starting this month, judging how models answer psychiatric cases and where their clinical reasoning breaks down. Diagnostic accuracy, psychopharmacology, and risk assessment all come under your scrutiny, and your written critique tells labs exactly what a licensed psychiatrist would do in the same situation. Some reviewers also draft realistic clinical vignettes with model reference answers. Work runs fully async with hours you set around your own clinical schedule.

Mercor
VerifiedCritical Care Physician
Mercor places board-certified critical care physicians on a project with a leading AI lab, where your clinical judgment becomes the check on machine-generated answers. You read de-identified patient charts, then score AI responses to critical care questions against the chart and against current standards of care. Every rationale you write on clinical rigor, completeness, and clarity feeds directly into how these health models get better. Hours are flexible and part-time, the work happens remotely, and the start date is immediate.

Mercor
VerifiedGeneral Physician
Mercor pairs experienced physicians with a leading AI lab to check how well health AI models handle diagnosis, clinical reasoning, and care workflows. The work is part-time at 20 or more hours each week and runs for six weeks, with an immediate start. Candidates need an MD or DO, an active unrestricted US license, completed residency, and a current patient-facing practice.

Mercor
VerifiedEndocrinologist

Expect a credential check covering license status, board certification, training, and current practice setting before onboarding wraps up.

AfterQuery
VerifiedClinical Psychologist AI Reviewer
AfterQuery builds the evaluation data that frontier AI labs rely on to test how their models respond to mental health situations. The company needs licensed psychologists for a three-week review project that starts this month. You read how AI models answer clinical psychology prompts and judge the reasoning, the ethics and the risk handling behind each reply. When an answer misses the mark, you name the gap and describe what a licensed clinician would have said instead. Some reviewers also draft realistic case vignettes with reference responses attached.
