Requirements10
- 1bachelor’s degree or higher in translation, linguistics, localization, communications, or related field.
- 2native or near-native mandarin chinese with strong china locale conventions.
- 3minimum c1 english proficiency (reading and writing) for interpreting prompts, sources, and evaluation guidelines.
- 45+ years of professional localization/translation experience; multilingual localization experience a plus.
- 5demonstrated ability to apply MQM/LQA concepts to quality decisions.
- 6proficiency with CAT tools (translation memory, termbases) and QA workflows.
- 7excellent editorial judgment on tone, register, inclusivity, and cultural nuance.
- 8ability to rigorous fact-check localized content using reliable sources and consistent reasoning.
- 9comfort working as an hourly contractor with dependable throughput and clear cross-time-zone documentation.
- 10preferred experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluation.
Who Should Apply
