Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, Localization, Communications, or a related field.
- 2Native or near-native Traditional Chinese with strong China locale conventions.
- 3Minimum C1 English proficiency (reading and writing) for interpreting prompts, sources, and evaluation guidelines.
- 45+ years of localization/translation experience; multilingual localization experience preferred.
- 5Proven ability to apply MQM/LQA concepts (severity, category, root-cause) to quality decisions.
- 6Proficiency with CAT tools, translation memory, termbases, automated checks; comfortable following structured guidelines.
- 7Excellent editorial judgment on register, tone, inclusivity, and cultural nuance with meticulous attention to detail.
- 8Strong fact-checking skills for units, references, and names using reliable sources.
- 9Comfort working as an hourly contractor with dependable throughput and cross-time-zone collaboration.
- 10Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluation is preferred.
