Python Expert for AI Evaluation and Mandarin QA Remote
Overview
Work remotely as a Python Expert focused on evaluating AI-generated Python answers and Chinese explanations. You will rate reasoning quality, edge cases, and solution correctness using a consistent rubric. Create bilingual prompts and reference explanations in Mandarin Chinese (Traditional Chinese preferred for HK) to guide ai training data and model evaluation. Your role includes annotating common Python error patterns with bilingual labels to ensure consistent judgments.
What You'll Do7
- 1Review AI-generated Python solutions for correctness, edge-case handling, and idiomatic Python 3.x usage.
- 2Rate responses against a consistent rubric that weighs correctness, readability, time/space complexity, and edge-case coverage.
- 3Compare and critique AI-generated explanations in English and Mandarin, noting gaps, biases, and clarity.
- 4Create and QA Mandarin Chinese prompts, constraints, and acceptance criteria for Python coding scenarios.
- 5Annotate and categorize common Python error patterns with bilingual labels to support consistent evaluation.
- 6Provide concise, English-language issue summaries and the rationale behind ratings.
- 7Write high-quality reference solutions and model explanations to accompany evaluated responses.
Requirements8
- 12–5 years of relevant professional experience in Python development, code review, debugging, or technical problem solving.
- 2Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, with the ability to interpret and evaluate technical content written in Chinese (Traditional Chinese preferred for HK).
- 4English proficiency: C1 level.
- 5Strong working knowledge of Python 3.x fundamentals (data structures, functions, modules, exceptions), plus practical debugging skills for real-world failures.
- 6Ability to evaluate solution quality using clear criteria (correctness, edge cases, complexity, readability) and apply rubrics consistently across many samples.
- 7Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, or evaluating AI-generated content is strongly preferred.
- 8Detail-oriented and self-directed work style suitable for remote, flexible-hours contract work.
Who Should Apply
Candidates who fit include bilingual Python professionals with 2–5 years of development and code-review experience. They are fluent in Mandarin Chinese and comfortable interpreting technical content in Chinese, with Traditional Chinese preferred for HK, and they possess English at C1 level. They work well in a remote, contract setting, and bring a disciplined approach to rubrics and quality gates. Applicants lacking Mandarin fluency or Python debugging experience are unlikely to be a good fit. If you have limited AI data annotation exposure, you may be a weaker match for this role.
