Overview
This role involves applying legal expertise in commercial real estate and energy to review land control documents for AI training. The contractor will evaluate deeds, leases, easements, and rights of way, identify issues, and organize findings for senior review. This position supports the development of next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality legal input.
What You'll Do6
- 1Review and evaluate land control instruments including deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for term, exclusivity, and conveyance terms.
- 2Identify deficiencies, gaps, and execution issues across site control documentation packages.
- 3Organize and structure findings into clear, standardized formats suitable for senior legal review.
- 4Support due diligence workflows by processing and annotating land and real estate documents.
- 5Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on project and regulatory requirements.
- 6Collaborate with senior reviewers to escalate and resolve complex document issues.
Requirements5
- 15+ years of experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, preferably in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
- 2Hands-on experience reviewing land control instruments — deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights of way.
- 3Strong ability to assess term, exclusivity, and conveyance language in legal documents.
- 4High attention to detail with the ability to organize findings in structured, standardized formats.
- 5Comfortable working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
