Overview
This role lets you put your commercial real estate and energy law expertise to work training AI systems. Instead of traditional legal tasks, you'll analyze land control documents to help models learn how to interpret complex legal language. Your domain knowledge matters more than any AI background.
What You'll Do6
- 1Examine deeds, ground leases, rights of way, and easement agreements for key details like term, exclusivity, and conveyance rights.
- 2Spot missing information, errors, or execution problems in site control documentation packages.
- 3Organize your findings into clean, standardized summaries that senior legal staff can use directly.
- 4Support due diligence by reviewing and annotating land and real estate documents as part of a structured workflow.
- 5Flag any filings that don't meet project or regulatory requirements and escalate them appropriately.
- 6Collaborate with senior reviewers to resolve tricky document issues and ensure completeness.
Requirements4
- 1At least five years of experience as a paralegal or legal document reviewer, ideally in energy, real estate, or infrastructure.
- 2Hands-on familiarity with land control instruments such as deeds, easements, rights of way, and ground leases.
- 3Strong ability to assess legal language around term, exclusivity, and conveyance and to present findings in a consistent format.
- 4Meticulous attention to detail and comfort working independently in a remote, document-heavy environment.
