What You'll Do9

• Spot-check Kannada items on a set cadence, record defects, and send direct feedback to the people who produced the work.
• Escalate repeated or severe quality problems to project leadership before they spread across a batch.
• Post guideline changes, workflow updates, and quality reminders for trainers and QAs in Discord.
• Field questions about Kannada wording, register, translation fidelity, cultural context, regional variation, and edge cases.
• Message contributors who have gone quiet, track follow-ups, and report availability gaps.
• Write and maintain style guides, trackers, FAQs, examples, honeypots, and onboarding material for Kannada projects.
• Run onboarding and training calls that walk trainers and QAs through rubrics, workflows, and Kannada style rules.
• Confirm that every trainer and QA applies updated language guidance the same way as projects evolve.
• Study recurring quality gaps and propose workflow changes that make Kannada QA easier to scale.

Requirements8

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Kannada, linguistics, translation, communications, journalism, English, education, quality assurance, or a related field.
• Native or near-native Kannada with strong reading and writing ability.
• Solid English for reading guidelines, writing feedback, and working with the team.
• 3+ years in Kannada writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, teaching, annotation, or a similar language review workflow.
• Command of Kannada grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context.
• Skill at judging content against detailed rubrics and naming problems such as mistranslation, literal phrasing, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
• Comfort with Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management systems in a remote setup.
• Organized and detail-focused, able to keep style guides, FAQs, trackers, onboarding docs, and honeypots current.

Preferred Qualifications2

• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs.
• Background in AI training, data annotation, large language models, prompt and response evaluation, or rubric-based LLM QA.
