• Review ARC science benchmark questions and answer choices, comparing the original Kannada translation with an AI correction against the English source.
• Judge each item for accuracy and faithfulness to the source, not for style changes.
• Choose one outcome: keep the original, accept the AI correction, edit the final translation, or flag the item for escalation.
• Write a short review comment that explains your choice.
• Preserve the source meaning, difficulty, answer structure, scientific terms, and protected elements.
• Review AI-generated Kannada for grammar, spelling, fluency, tone, cultural fit, and prompt adherence.
• Spot mistranslations, meaning shifts, register errors, ambiguity, and logic gaps.
• Fact-check claims and write rewritten answers or model responses in Kannada.
• Rate and compare several AI responses for correctness and overall quality.
• Follow core and language-specific guidelines for each task.

Requirements8

• Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics, Kannada or English literature, communications, journalism, translation, or a similar field, or comparable professional experience.
• Native or near-native Kannada reading and writing ability.
• English at C1 or above for reading guidelines and writing detailed feedback.
• Three or more years of professional work in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or another language-focused role.
• Deep knowledge of Kannada grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style, with the ability to explain an error and propose a fix.
• Skill with formal and informal registers, regional variation such as Bengaluru usage versus dialect influence, and audiences in India or the diaspora.
• Sharp attention to detail for subtle meaning shifts, invented claims, and awkward cultural phrasing.
• Reliable, self-directed work habits and consistent quality in an hourly remote contractor setup across time zones.

Preferred Qualifications2

• Experience with AI data training or annotation
• Translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation background
