Overview
Mercor is working with a leading AI lab to refine how a next-generation AI assistant responds to natural voice commands. We need native Hindi speakers from India to use a specialized app on their own Mac and speak everyday tasks like composing emails, formatting documents, and generating images. After each session, you'll capture the exact spoken request, produce a clean transcript, and rate the AI's performance. This remote project runs for 4 weeks and pays $15 per hour.
What You'll Do5
- 1Use your voice to dictate everyday tasks into a specialized app, such as writing emails, composing messages, and jotting down notes.
- 2Direct the AI to perform specific operations: produce images, tidy up text formatting, run spreadsheet formulas, or summarize lengthy documents.
- 3Record your spoken commands exactly as spoken, then refine them into clean, readable transcripts.
- 4Score the AI's output according to how well it understood and completed each request.
- 5Enter every task's details into a structured spreadsheet and attach the session recordings to a shared cloud folder.
Requirements4
- 1Native or near-native fluency in Hindi, ideally raised in India, with the ability to follow detailed English guidelines.
- 2Own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3) and macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer installed.
- 3Comfortable using everyday productivity software: email clients, chat apps, document editors, spreadsheets, and web browsers.
- 4At ease with meticulous data entry, including filling structured logs and reviewing your own work for accuracy.
