Overview
We're seeking seasoned Funds Attorneys to join a groundbreaking project at the intersection of law and AI. In this remote contract role, you'll apply your expertise in fund formation and contract negotiation to help train and evaluate advanced legal AI models. Your work will directly improve how AI systems interpret complex documents and identify risk.
What You'll Do4
- 1Participate in simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises to generate real-world legal scenarios.
- 2Review and assess AI-generated responses to contract tasks, providing expert feedback to enhance precision and legal judgment.
- 3Design objective evaluation frameworks and scoring criteria to consistently measure AI performance on contract analysis.
- 4Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review solutions.
Requirements5
- 1J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 2At least 2 years of experience in the funds department of a corporate law firm, with hands-on exposure to LPAs, subscription agreements, and side letters.
- 3Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- 5A demonstrated interest in legal innovation and experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
