Enterprise Client Partner (Government) | $2-$3/hr Remote
Overview
This role is for a Client Partner focused on driving adoption of advanced AI capabilities within U.S. Government and defense environments. The individual will build relationships across the Department of Defense, federal agencies, and defense contractors, translating mission needs into deployable AI solutions. Working in an early-stage startup setting, the person will own deals end-to-end while helping shape the go-to-market motion in the defense ecosystem.

- 4Own the full deal cycle: from early discovery and stakeholder mapping through contract execution and expansion.
- 5Navigate government procurement processes, including working with primes, subcontractors, and acquisition pathways.
- 6Partner with internal product and engineering teams to align capabilities with mission requirements.
- 7Drive initial deployments and ensure successful adoption within operational workflows.
- 8Maintain clear pipeline visibility and provide insight into government demand signals and priorities.
- 9Help shape the defense GTM strategy, positioning, and early customer footprint.
Requirements7
- 1Background in the U.S. military, Department of Defense, or broader U.S. Government ecosystem.
- 2Experience working at or with a defense contractor or defense tech company.
- 3Strong understanding of how government programs, procurement, and stakeholder dynamics operate.
- 4Ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders in mission-driven environments.
- 5High ownership mindset with ability to operate independently in an early-stage setting.
- 6Strong communication skills with ability to translate between technical capabilities and mission outcomes.
- 7Preferred: Experience in early-stage defense tech startups, exposure to AI/ML, data systems, or autonomy in defense applications, familiarity with acquisition pathways (e.g., SBIR, OTA, IDIQ), existing network within DoD or defense primes, prior experience in government-facing sales.

Salary Insight
Base salary ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 USD per year, plus equity compensation, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including up to 100% reimbursement for health-insurance premiums, paid time off, and a 401(K) plan with company match.
