AfterQuery builds the evaluation data that frontier AI labs use to test how models handle real professional work, and this contract puts certified coders inside that pipeline. You write chart-to-code scenarios, supply answer keys with the guideline citations behind each decision, and score what a model produces against actual coding rules. ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS judgment sits at the center of every task. The work runs remote and async, with a 10-hour weekly floor and no ceiling.
What You'll Do6
- Build coding scenarios that start with chart documentation and end at a finished code set.
- Draft reference answers that cite the guideline behind each code you select.
- Review model output for coding accuracy and for compliance exposure.
- Catch code sets that read as clean but would fail a payer audit.
- Explain a code choice in writing so another coder can follow the reasoning step by step.
- Set your own weekly hours around a 10-hour minimum, scaling up or down as your schedule allows.
Requirements5
- CPC through AAPC or CCS through AHIMA, current and in good standing.
- Two or more years of coding in a production setting.
- Working depth in ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS built on hands-on chart review.
- Written English clear enough to justify a code selection to a peer.
- Availability of at least 10 hours each week.
