What You'll Do6

- 5Rate and compare multiple AI responses to choose the most accurate and natural option across regional variants.
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine prompts, guidelines, and rubrics used for translation quality review and localization QA.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree or higher in linguistics, Catalan philology, Catalan literature, English literature, journalism, translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2Native or near-native Catalan with strong reading and writing skills.
- 3Strong professional proficiency in English (C1) to follow guidelines and provide feedback.
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language work.
- 5Deep knowledge of Catalan grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, accents, pronouns, verb forms, idiomatic usage, tone, and style.
- 6Ability to work across multiple registers and regional variations including Valencian and Balearic usage.
- 7High attention to detail to spot subtle meaning shifts, false friends, pronoun issues, or culturally mismatched wording.
- 8Reliable, self-directed remote contractor who can deliver consistently in hourly workflows across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, localization QA, or rubric-based evaluation strongly preferred.
