What You'll Do7
- 1Develop precise CAM toolpaths in Autodesk Fusion 360 for multi‑axis CNC operations (3, 4, 5 axis)
- 2Program complex milling and turning geometries across metals and plastics with attention to material, tolerance, and machine limits
- 3Simulate and validate toolpaths to prevent collisions, gouges, and long cycle times
- 4Tune and document post‑processors for machines such as Haas and Makera
- 5Create setup sheets, tool lists, and strategy guides for manufacturing teams
- 6Produce clear CAM programming guidance and tutorials
- 7Iterate CAM outputs based on feedback from parts inspection and first‑part results
Requirements6
- 15+ years of hands‑on CAM programming experience with demonstrated Fusion 360 proficiency
- 2A portfolio or samples showing multi‑axis programming and toolpath strategy
- 3Solid understanding of GD&T, DFM principles, and post‑processor configuration
- 4Experience programming for advanced CNC environments across aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and plastics
