Join a collaboration between Mercor and a top AI research lab to help build next-generation text-to-speech systems. As a Latin America-based voice actor with native Latin American Spanish fluency and a neutral, internationally intelligible accent, you'll record high-quality audio for training and evaluating a customer experience AI agent. Your voice will be cloned exclusively for this internal application, with no reuse or resale. This is a short-term, $50/hour freelance role requiring 5-10 hours weekly.
What You'll Do5
- 1Record clean, expressive voice samples for a variety of script types including conversational, narrative, and instructional content.
- 2Deliver natural-sounding speech with precise control over tone, pace, and pronunciation across all takes.
- 3Maintain consistent voice quality, accent, and delivery style from session to session.
- 4Follow detailed technical guidelines for recording environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- 5When required, produce multiple takes that vary in emotion, emphasis, and style to capture different vocal expressions.
Requirements7
- 1Native Latin American Spanish speaker currently living in Latin America, with a neutral accent that is easily understood internationally — free of strong regional markers.
- 2Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- 3Access to a professional-grade recording setup (quality microphone, quiet room, pop filter, etc.).
- 4Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range to bring scripts to life.
- 5Ability to follow written scripts precisely while keeping delivery natural and unforced.
- 6Reliable availability to commit 5-10 hours per week for the project's duration.
- 7Comfort with your voice being cloned for the client's internal CX AI agent — recordings will not be sold or reused for any other purpose.
