A leading AI research lab is building next-generation text-to-speech (TTS) systems and needs authentic voices to train and evaluate their models. They are specifically looking for female voice actors based in northern UK who can deliver a natural Northern English accent (e.g., Yorkshire, Manchester, Newcastle). What You'll Do5
- 1Record clean, high-quality voice samples across a variety of script types including conversational, narrative, and instructional content.
- 2Deliver speech that is clear, expressive, and natural, with strong control over tone, pacing, and pronunciation.
- 3Maintain consistent voice quality, accent, and delivery style across all recording sessions.
- 4Follow detailed recording guidelines regarding environment, microphone setup, and file formatting.
- 5Provide multiple takes with different emotions, emphasis, and stylistic variations as requested.

- 1Must be a female voice actor currently based in northern UK with a natural, authentic Northern English accent (e.g., Yorkshire, Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool).
- 2Proven experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, podcasting, or broadcasting.
- 3Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup including a quality microphone, quiet environment, and pop filter.
- 4Strong command of intonation, diction, and emotional range to bring scripts to life.
- 5Ability to follow scripts precisely while maintaining a natural, conversational delivery.
- 6Reliable availability for 5–10 hours per week over the project duration.
