This remote, part-time gig puts your voice at the heart of next-generation speech AI. You'll record clean, expressive audio in Australian English to help train and evaluate a leading research lab's text-to-speech models. The recordings feed an internal customer-service AI agent and won't be reused or sold for anything else. What You'll Do5
- 1Produce high-quality vocal recordings across a range of scripts, from casual chats to instructional and narrative content
- 2Deliver speech that is crisp, natural, and emotionally engaging, with careful attention to tone, rhythm, and pronunciation
- 3Keep your voice, accent, and delivery steady from one session to the next for consistent model training data
- 4Follow detailed recording specs around microphone placement, background noise, and file formatting
- 5Re-record lines with different emotional shades, emphasis, or stylistic approaches whenever the project calls for it
Requirements7
- 1Native English speaker with a genuine Australian accent and current residence in Australia
- 2Solid background in voice acting, narration, podcasting, dubbing, or broadcast work
- 3Access to a proper home studio setup — quality microphone, quiet treated space, pop filter, and the like
- 4Strong grasp of intonation, diction, and the ability to switch emotional registers naturally
- 5Ability to follow a script exactly while sounding unrehearsed and conversational
- 6Dependable availability for 5–10 hours each week for the duration of the project
- 7Comfort with the fact that your voice may be cloned — the recordings are for the client's internal CX agent only and won't be licensed or resold
