Overview
This part-time contract role puts you at the center of legal AI development. You will work with contract redlining workflows that train and evaluate advanced AI models. Your expertise in MSAs, NDAs, and ISDAs will directly shape how these systems spot risk and read contract language. The position is fully remote and task-based, with an average handling time of about 3.5 hours per task.
What You'll Do6
- Run simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Evaluate AI responses to contract scenarios and give expert feedback to boost model accuracy.
- Build objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI contract tasks.
- Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI contract review.
- Review and assess contract language to help AI systems interpret risk and legal terms.
- Contribute to the development of tools that bring better precision and legal judgment to AI.
Requirements7
- At least 3 years of in-house experience with technology transactions, including negotiating MSAs, NDAs, ISDAs, and derivatives.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- A demonstrated commitment to innovation where law and technology meet.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-moving settings.
- Prior exposure to AI, legal tech, or training initiatives is a plus.
- Experience at a corporate law firm in M&A or fund formation for private equity firms is preferred.
