What You'll Do8

- 2Evaluate AI-generated responses to contract scenarios and deliver expert feedback to boost model accuracy.
- 3Build objective evaluation frameworks and grading rubrics for assessing AI performance on contract tasks.
- 4Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI contract review tools.
- 5Review and redline standard M&A agreements, including APAs and SPAs, to generate training data.
- 6Document legal reasoning behind redline decisions to help AI systems learn judgment patterns.
- 7Flag inconsistencies or gaps in AI outputs that could lead to legal risk.
- 8Contribute to calibration sessions with other attorneys to keep evaluation standards consistent.
Requirements8
- 1J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- 2Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3At least 2 years in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
- 4Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including APAs and SPAs.
- 5Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
- 6Analytical mindset and the ability to turn legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- 7Track record of working with cross-disciplinary teams.
- 8Interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
