Overview
This part-time contractor role places you at the center of legal AI development. You will work with contract redlining and M&A agreements to train and evaluate advanced models. Your feedback will shape how AI systems interpret contract language and spot risk. The position is remote and task-based, with an average handling time of about 3.5 hours per task.
What You'll Do5
- Run simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises.
- Evaluate AI responses to contract scenarios and provide expert feedback to boost model accuracy.
- Build objective evaluation frameworks and grading criteria for AI performance on contract tasks.
- Work with product and research teams to improve data, guidelines, and best practices for AI-driven contract review.
- Review and assess contract language to help AI systems identify risk and interpret terms with legal judgment.

- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- At least 2 years in the M&A department of a corporate law firm.
- Familiarity with standard M&A agreements, including APAs and SPAs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Analytical ability to translate legal expertise into actionable feedback for AI systems.
- Demonstrated interest in innovation at the intersection of law and technology.
- Experience working with cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced environments.
