Remote hourly contractor leads Tamil QA for AI training projects. You review AI-generated Tamil content and trainer work, measuring output against project rubrics. What You'll Do8
- 1Conduct ongoing Tamil content quality checks across AI training tasks, flag issues using rubrics, and draft targeted feedback for trainers and QAs.
- 2Keep trainers and QAs aligned by posting guidelines, workflow updates, and quality expectations on Discord.
- 3Respond to questions about Tamil wording, register, and cultural context with clear, timely guidance.
- 4Manage contributor activity by messaging inactive participants, encouraging re-engagement, and tracking follow-ups.
- 5Create and maintain Tamil project docs, including style guides, FAQs, trackers, and onboarding materials.
- 6Lead onboarding sessions for new trainers and QAs to explain rubrics, standards, and Tamil style requirements.
- 7Monitor consistency with Tamil language guidelines as project scope evolves, ensuring alignment across teams.
- 8Identify recurring quality gaps and propose scalable QA improvements for Tamil-language work.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's or Master's in Tamil, Linguistics, Translation, English, Education, QA, or related field.
- 2Native or near-native Tamil with strong reading and writing.
- 3Strong English to follow guidelines and provide feedback.
- 43+ years in Tamil writing/editing/translation/localization/content QA/AI training/annotation or related language-review workflows.
- 5Strong Tamil grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context.
- 6Ability to evaluate Tamil content against rubrics and identify mistranslation, awkward phrasing, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, or inconsistent terminology.
- 7Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is preferred.
- 8Comfortable with Discord, Google Docs, Google Sheets, trackers, dashboards, and PM tools in a remote environment.
- 9Highly detail-oriented and organized; able to maintain style guides, FAQs, onboarding materials.
- 10Experience with AI training, data annotation, LLM QA is a strong plus.
