- 6Rate and compare multiple AI responses using a rubric, then share actionable improvement guidance.
- 7Collaborate with the AI data training team to ensure alignment with style guides and terminology.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree or higher in Linguistics, Tamil or English Literature, Communications, Journalism, Translation, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2Native or near-native Tamil reading and writing proficiency.
- 3Strong professional English proficiency (C1) to follow guidelines and provide feedback in English.
- 43+ years of professional experience in writing, editing, localization, translation, content QA, journalism, education, or related language-focused work.
- 5Deep understanding of Tamil grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, and style; able to explain issues and fixes.
- 6Comfort with multiple registers (formal/informal), Tamil used in India vs Sri Lanka vs diaspora contexts, and audience adaptation as required.
- 7High attention to detail to spot subtle meaning shifts, awkward translations, hallucinated claims, or culturally mismatched phrasing.
- 8Reliable, self-directed, and able to deliver consistent quality in hourly remote contractor workflow across time zones.
- 9Prior experience with AI data training/annotation, translation QA, editorial QA, or rubric-based evaluation is strongly preferred.
