Support Engineer | $25-$50/hr Remote
Overview
This role blends technical support with AI training — you'll use your cloud and networking expertise to resolve complex issues while contributing domain knowledge to improve AI systems. You'll work autonomously in a remote environment, tackling problems across scripting, cloud platforms, and TCP/IP networking.
What You'll Do7
- 1Investigate and resolve advanced technical problems related to cloud infrastructure and networking.
- 2Write and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate routine support tasks and speed up incident response.
- 3Collaborate with customers and internal teams to identify, document, and fix technical challenges, ensuring clear communication throughout.
- 4Use JIRA to track support tickets, monitor progress, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- 5Analyze and troubleshoot TCP/IP networking issues, providing expert guidance and remediation.
- 6Create and update technical documentation and best-practice guides for recurring issues.
- 7Communicate empathetically and clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements7
- 1Expert-level proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- 2Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 3Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and the ability to troubleshoot related issues.
- 4Proficiency with JIRA for issue tracking and project management.
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- 6Proven problem-solving skills in high-pressure or fast-paced environments.
- 7Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team setting.
