What You'll Do5
- 1Design and implement cloud tasks that test distributed systems, networking, security, scalability, and reliability.
- 2Create containerized, reproducible environments with solid reference solutions and clearly defective variants for testing.
- 3Set measurable requirements for infrastructure configuration, deployed topology, and runtime behavior.
- 4Build deterministic tests for integration, load, security, failure injection, deployment, and recovery scenarios.
- 5Debug environments, document decisions, and review work produced by other platform engineers.
Requirements5
- 1Senior-level experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, or SRE with direct ownership of a production platform.
- 2Deep understanding of distributed systems, scalable APIs, queues, autoscaling, durable storage, and handling partial failures.
- 3Hands-on experience with IAM, private networking, least-privilege access, and service-to-service security.
- 4Familiarity with observability, SLOs, rolling deployments, rollback strategies, and disaster recovery planning.
- 5Ability to write infrastructure automation or testing tools and debug containerized environments using a programming language relevant to the stack.
