Overview
This is a unique role where you'll apply your senior-level platform engineering and cloud infrastructure expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Instead of building production software directly, you'll design realistic, hands-on tasks that teach AI models how to design, deploy, secure, and recover production-grade infrastructure. No AI background is required—your real-world experience with distributed systems and cloud operations is exactly what's needed.
What You'll Do5
- 1Design realistic cloud infrastructure tasks that challenge AI models on distributed systems, networking, security, scalability, and reliability.
- 2Build reproducible, containerized testing environments—complete with correct reference solutions and deliberately broken variants.
- 3Define clear success criteria covering infrastructure configuration, deployed topology, and runtime behavior for each task.
- 4Develop automated tests for integration, load, security, failure injection, deployment, and recovery scenarios.
- 5Debug environments, document technical decisions, and review tasks created by other experts to ensure quality and consistency.
Requirements5
- 1Senior-level experience owning a production platform in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or SRE.
- 2Deep knowledge of distributed systems, scalable APIs, queues, autoscaling, durable storage, and partial-failure patterns.
- 3Hands-on expertise with IAM, private networking, least-privilege access, and service-to-service security.
- 4Practical experience with observability, SLOs, rolling deployments, rollback strategies, and disaster recovery.
- 5Ability to write infrastructure automation or testing tools and debug containerized environments (using Python, Go, or similar).

Salary Insight
