What You'll Do5

• Create realistic cloud tasks that exercise distributed architectures, networking, security, scalability, and reliability.
• Assemble reproducible, containerized setups with solid reference solutions and purposely defective variants.
• Set measurable criteria for infrastructure configuration, deployed topology, and runtime behavior.
• Develop deterministic tests for integration, load, security, failure injection, deployment, and recovery processes.
• Debug environments, document technical decisions, and review work from peers to ensure quality.

Requirements5

• Senior-level experience in technical architecture or cloud infrastructure with ownership of a production platform.
• Strong grasp of distributed systems, scalable APIs, message queues, autoscaling, durable storage, and partial-failure handling.
• Hands-on experience with IAM, private networking, least-privilege access, and service-to-service security.
• Proven ability to implement observability, define measurable SLOs, support rolling deployments, and plan disaster recovery.
• Programming capability to write infrastructure automation or testing tools and to debug containerized environments.

Who Should Apply

The ideal candidate is a senior platform engineer or SRE who has owned a production cloud platform and can design realistic RL environments for testing.
