Sr Data Analyst (Tariff Data)
Overview
You will own the modeling of complex utility tariffs, rates, and programs into structured models that support cost and usage analysis. You will work with advanced Excel macros and SQL to maintain tariff updates and validate client input data. The role sits within a cross-functional delivery team that runs sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies. You will also build product demonstrations and visualizations for clients. What You'll Do7
- 1Convert complex utility tariffs, rates, and programs into structured models.
- 2Analyze energy utilization data to identify cost and usage patterns.
- 3Maintain tariff models with timely updates for price, logic, and other enhancements.
- 4Validate client input data for modeling work alongside the delivery team.
- 5Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in the modeling tool.
- 6Build and deliver product demonstrations and visualizations.
- 7Participate in sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies, working toward committed sprint goals.
Requirements9
- 14-7 years of industry experience.
- 2Bachelor's degree in an analytical subject such as Engineering or Statistics.
- 3Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and macros, including complex calculations and pivots.
- 4Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical skills.
- 5Understanding of relational database concepts and familiarity with SQL.
- 6Ability to communicate and work across cross-functional teams.
- 7Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting to automate routine tasks.
- 8Experience in the energy industry and familiarity with utility tariffs (preferred).
- 91+ year of experience with Agile methodology (preferred).
