Overview
This role blends deep accounting expertise with cutting-edge AI development. You'll partner with a leading AI research lab to train frontier models by evaluating how they reason through complex financial reporting and auditing problems. Your professional judgment will directly shape the next generation of AI's accuracy in accounting.
What You'll Do5
- 1Assess two AI-generated responses to the same accounting prompt and select the superior one.
- 2Study the AI's reasoning process from provided input files to inform your evaluation.
- 3Justify your choice by referencing correctness, adherence to GAAP or IFRS, and quality of logical reasoning.
- 4Deliver written feedback that the research team uses to refine model behavior.
- 5Attend onboarding and calibration sessions to align on evaluation standards.
Requirements4
- 1At least 2 years of hands-on experience in accounting, audit, or tax — whether in public accounting, corporate finance, or advisory.
- 2A CPA (or equivalent credential) and/or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3Strong command of GAAP and/or IFRS and the ability to analyze financial statements.
- 4Exceptional written communication skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
