Retention Marketer (D2C)
Overview
We’re looking for a D2C Retention Marketer who understands that growth doesn’t end at the first order. Your core responsibility will be to increase repeat purchase rate, LTV, and customer engagement using lifecycle marketing channels like WhatsApp, Email, SMS, and CRM automation. This is a hands-on role where you'll be building flows, launching campaigns, analyzing cohorts, and continuously improving retention metrics.
What You'll Do6
- 1Own and scale customer retention and repeat purchase programs.
- 2Design and execute end-to-end lifecycle journeys across WhatsApp, Email, and SMS.
- 3Improve key metrics: repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value, and revenue from retention channels.
- 4Build and manage WhatsApp automation flows including welcome series, abandoned browse/cart/checkout, post-purchase, and reorder nudges.
- 5Run broadcast campaigns with proper segmentation and optimize copy, timing, frequency, and CTA.
- 6Work with CRM data to segment users based on behavior and lifecycle stage, and perform cohort analysis to identify drop-offs and opportunities.
Requirements6
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in D2C Retention Marketing for e-commerce or consumer brands.
- 2Proven experience designing and executing end-to-end lifecycle journeys across WhatsApp, Email, and SMS.
- 3Strong hands-on expertise in WhatsApp marketing automation, including chatbot flows and broadcast campaigns.
- 4Deep understanding of retention metrics such as repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value, and engagement metrics.
- 5Experience with CRM data handling, user segmentation based on behavior and lifecycle stages, and cohort analysis.
- 6Hands-on experience with tools like Klaviyo, CleverTap, WebEngage, and WhatsApp automation platforms.
