Product Owner/Product Manager (AI/ML)
Overview
You own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML features and platforms, bringing 7-9 years of product management experience to the role. You partner with data science and engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and ship ML/AI capabilities using Scrum/Agile practices. You track success metrics and model performance to guide iteration, and you champion responsible AI through data quality, fairness, transparency, and human oversight. The role includes discovery, user research, and competitive analysis to validate priorities, with tools like JIRA and Confluence supporting delivery. What You'll Do8
- 1Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-powered features and platforms.
- 2Translate customer and business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and a well-groomed backlog.
- 3Partner with data science and engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and ship ML/AI capabilities.
- 4Own sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups, driving Agile/Scrum delivery end to end.
- 5Define success metrics and track product and model performance to inform iteration.
- 6Champion responsible AI, including data quality, fairness, transparency, and human oversight.
- 7Communicate roadmap, trade-offs, and progress to stakeholders, leadership, and clients.
- 8Conduct discovery, user research, and competitive analysis to validate direction and priorities.
Requirements8
- 17+ years of product management and product ownership experience, shipping software products end to end.
- 2AI/ML product experience managing products built on machine learning, data, or LLM/GenAI capabilities.
- 3Strong command of Scrum/Agile, backlog management, and prioritization frameworks.
- 4Data fluency: defining metrics, reading analytics, and reasoning about model behavior and limitations.
- 5Stakeholder management: aligning business, engineering, and clients through clear communication.
- 6Discovery mindset: user research, problem framing, and turning ambiguity into a clear plan.
- 7Hands-on with JIRA, Confluence, and product/roadmapping tools.
- 8Nice to have: insurance or fintech domain exposure, understanding of APIs and cloud (AWS), and CSPO/PSPO certification.
