You will act as the L2 support point for SFTP and MFT platforms, handling incidents, requests, and problem tickets while keeping file transfer services available and within SLA. Day to day work includes troubleshooting transfer failures, managing SSH keys and PGP encryption, provisioning users, and coordinating escalations with L3 and engineering teams. You will also help onboard partners, configure transfer workflows, and support patching and upgrades across the SFTP environment. The position sits in Mumbai and calls for 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience with secure file transfer and network security fundamentals.

Requirements8
- 14-6 years of experience in network security or secure file transfer solutions

- 3Solid grasp of SFTP, FTPS, SCP, and HTTPS file transfer protocols
- 4Experience with key-based authentication, including SSH keys and PGP encryption
- 5Familiarity with firewalls, proxies, and network security fundamentals
- 6Strong troubleshooting ability for connectivity, authentication, and transfer failures
- 7Knowledge of incident, change, and problem management under the ITIL framework
- 8Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Who Should Apply
Candidates with 4 to 6 years in network security or secure file transfer roles will fit best, especially those who have administered Globalscape EFT in production. The role suits someone comfortable with SFTP, FTPS, SCP, and HTTPS protocols, plus SSH key and PGP encryption management. If your background is mostly general IT support without hands-on MFT platform work, or you lack exposure to ITIL incident and change processes, this position will likely be a stretch. Applicants who cannot demonstrate troubleshooting of file transfer connectivity and authentication failures may score low on fit.
