What You'll Do7
- 1Offer technical support to customers via phone, email, and ticketing system for Palo Alto Networks security products.
- 2Diagnose and fix customer issues tied to firewall policies, network connectivity, VPN configurations, threat prevention, and security features.
- 3Work with customers, cross-functional teams, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
- 4Carry out system configurations and guide customers through initial product installations, upgrades, and migrations.
- 5Monitor and analyze system logs and events to detect and respond to security threats and performance bottlenecks.
- 6Record customer interactions, troubleshooting steps, and solutions in a knowledge base.
- 7Keep current with network security technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 2Knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies such as TCP/IP, VPN, SSL/TLS, IDS/IPS, and next-generation firewalls.
- 3Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks products like PAN-OS, GlobalProtect, and WildFire is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level.
- 4Basic understanding of network infrastructure components including routers, switches, and load balancers.
- 5Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 6Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- 7Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- 8Flexibility to work in shifts and provide on-call support as required.
