- 5Explain stylistic differences and individual approaches to common military documents such as WARs, SITREPs, AARs, and executive summaries.
- 6Generate supporting documents like decision briefs, memoranda, and action officer updates as needed.
- 7Work with other subject matter experts to ensure diverse reporting styles and adherence to branch-specific terminology.
Requirements7
- 1Former U.S. Department of War (Department of Defense) professional with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- 2Experience producing templated and standard reports such as Weekly Activity Reports (WARs), Situation Reports (SITREPs), After-Action Reviews, or similar artifacts.
- 3Expertise across two or more branches of the U.S. military is a plus; a diverse background across roles is highly valued.
- 4Proven proficiency in written and verbal communication, especially in conveying technical or operational subject matter.
- 5Demonstrated ability to craft, grade, and review back office documents, PowerPoints, memos, and spreadsheets for military or federal purposes.
- 6US-based contributor with broad familiarity with federal documentation standards and compliance best practices.
- 7Comfortable collaborating remotely and sharing insights on nuanced, highly procedural reporting tasks.
