In this contract role, you will apply your domain knowledge to help train next-generation AI systems by creating high-quality, multiple-choice assessment content. No prior AI experience is required — your deep understanding of mechanical engineering is what matters most.
What You'll Do5
- 1Develop precise and accurate single-choice questions rooted in mechanical engineering concepts for AI training datasets.
- 2Translate advanced topics in Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids into accessible, real-world assessment content.
- 3Write detailed rationales and explanations for each answer choice to support model learning and reasoning.
- 4Collaborate remotely with project coordinators, meet content delivery milestones, and incorporate feedback through quality reviews.
- 5Maintain organized records of assignments and submissions using provided digital workflow tools.
Requirements4
- 1PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in one or more of: Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids.
- 2Proven ability to translate complex engineering principles into clear, written content — experience in educational content creation, assessment design, or technical writing is highly valued.
- 3Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to technical accuracy in every piece of work.
- 4Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote, milestone-driven environment.
