No prior AI experience is required — your deep understanding of mechanical engineering is what matters most.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Develop precise and accurate single-choice questions rooted in mechanical engineering concepts for AI training datasets.
  • 2Translate advanced topics in Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids into accessible, real-world assessment content.
  • 3Write detailed rationales and explanations for each answer choice to support model learning and reasoning.
  • 4Collaborate remotely with project coordinators, meet content delivery milestones, and incorporate feedback through quality reviews.
  • 5Maintain organized records of assignments and submissions using provided digital workflow tools.

Requirements4

  • 1PhD or MS in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in one or more of: Solid & Structural Mechanics, Dynamics & Vibration & Control, or Thermal-Fluids.
  • 2Proven ability to translate complex engineering principles into clear, written content — experience in educational content creation, assessment design, or technical writing is highly valued.
  • 3Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to technical accuracy in every piece of work.
  • 4Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently in a remote, milestone-driven environment.

Who Should Apply

This role is perfect for mechanical engineers who have a passion for explaining complex concepts and a desire to contribute to cutting-edge AI development. You should be comfortable working autonomously, enjoy creating rigorous and clear assessments, and be excited about seeing your domain knowledge directly improve how AI systems learn and reason.
