Marketing Expert — Content Marketing (AI Agent Environments) | $60-$100/hr Remote
Overview
Paradigm is building simulated work environments that stress-test AI agents on real marketing tasks. These environments mirror a marketing team's actual tool stack, including CMS, CRM, analytics, and AEO/SEO platforms, filled with realistic documents and deliberately hidden faults. Your job is to design and pressure-test the Content Marketing scenarios so the briefs and reference answers reflect how expert practitioners genuinely decide. You will also review agent attempts and grade them against your own professional bar.
What You'll Do5
- 1Create task briefs from your own content marketing experience, naming the hidden flaw in each scenario and the judgment call a strong practitioner should make.
- 2Define the exact set of documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed to make each brief feel like a real working situation.
- 3Write or critique the reference answer, and spell out the criteria that separate a strong response from one that looks plausible but is wrong.
- 4Score and assess AI agent outputs against your professional standard for content marketing execution.
- 5Build scenarios that measure diagnosis from messy data, prioritization under tradeoffs, planning and execution, QA, triage, research, reporting, and multi-tool workflow orchestration.
Requirements5
- 1Hands-on experience owning an editorial program end to end, not just managing people who do the work.
- 2Comfortable daily use of a CMS such as Contentful, plus working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and a research tool like Semrush.
- 3Prior experience building AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies.
- 4Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification.
- 5Clear written reasoning that explains why a decision is right, not only what to do.
Who Should Apply
A content marketer who has personally run an editorial program from pitch to publication will feel at home here, because every brief must encode first-hand judgment. If you have only directed others and never executed the work yourself, this role will demand more than you expect. Most candidates fail the screening because their written explanations stay vague, especially when asked to justify a specific decision under ambiguous data. A Rubric certification or prior work building simulated environments will also give you a clear edge.
Salary Insight
The pay is $60 to $100 per hour as a remote contractor. That range reflects the specialized nature of the work, which blends senior content marketing expertise with AI evaluation design, so it typically matches rates for experienced independent consultants rather than standard content production gigs.

Application Tip
Before applying, review how you reason through editorial prioritization and content QA audits, because the multiple-choice screener will test exactly those sub-domain skills. Be ready to write a short explanation of a real decision you made from conflicting data, since the role hinges on clear written judgment.
