Overview

Paradigm builds simulated marketing departments where AI agents handle real campaign work. Each environment mirrors the tool stack found in an actual org, including CRM, Amplitude, and an ESP, along with realistic documents, dashboards, and personas. You will design lifecycle task briefs based on work you have done, embed a deliberate problem in each one, and define what a strong decision looks like. Part of the role is reviewing agent outputs and judging them against your professional standard.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Write lifecycle and CRM marketing briefs drawn from your own campaigns, specifying the planted issue and the decision a strong practitioner should reach.
  • 2Define the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed to make each brief feel real.
  • 3Author or review reference answers that show the correct reasoning path and the errors that mark a weak response.
  • 4Score AI agent attempts against your own standard and document where they diverge from expert judgment.
  • 5Build scenarios that cover contact strategy, milestone campaigns, deliverability, list health, and portfolio optimization.
  • 6Create tasks that force agents to diagnose messy data, prioritize under constraints, QA their work, and orchestrate multi-tool workflows.

Requirements5

  • 1Hands-on lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing experience where you owned the sending program and its incrementality.
  • 2Working familiarity with an ESP, a CRM like Salesforce, and product analytics like Amplitude.
  • 3Clear written reasoning that explains why one marketing decision beats another.
  • 4Preference for candidates who have built AI training environments, RL environments, or simulated case studies.
  • 5Preference for Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification.

Who Should Apply

The candidate who belongs here has owned lifecycle programs end to end, including deliverability and list-health decisions, and can explain why a particular send strategy lifts incrementality. This role needs someone who can turn that expertise into structured briefs and scoring rubrics that AI agents can be measured against. People managers who have not touched an ESP in years will struggle, and so will marketers who cannot articulate the reasoning behind a yes or no decision. Common reasons applicants get rejected are failing the sub-domain screener or writing briefs that describe a task without exposing the hidden error a strong practitioner would catch. Show your work in the application by submitting a short written example of a lifecycle tradeoff you handled.

Salary Insight

The posted rate is $60-$100 per hour, which matches senior freelance marketing expertise and AI evaluation work. The lower end fits strong practitioners, while the upper end targets those with AI training environment experience or Rubric certification.

Application Tip

Before applying, write a one-page example of a lifecycle brief with a planted issue and the reference answer you would use. Include the reasoning step by step, because the review process puts heavy weight on clear written rationale.
