Marketing Expert — Marketing Analytics (AI Agent Environments) | $60-$100/hr Remote
Listing checked August 26, 2026 · pay as published by Mercor
Overview
Paradigm creates high-fidelity simulated work environments that test and improve AI agents on genuine marketing tasks. The Marketing Analytics track recreates the tool surface of a real marketing org: Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, Salesforce, ad platforms, CRM, and project management software, each stocked with realistic documents and planted problems. You will design briefs, reference answers, and scoring criteria that separate strong judgment from plausible mistakes. The role pays $60-$100 per hour and is remote.
What You'll Do6
- 1Write task briefs based on real marketing analytics work you have performed, each one spelling out the planted issue and the judgment call a strong practitioner should make.
- 2Specify the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states that make each simulated environment realistic enough to challenge an AI agent.
- 3Draft or review reference answers and the scoring rubric that distinguishes a correct decision from a plausible but wrong one.
- 4Assess AI agent output against your own professional standard and record where and why it fails.
- 5Design scenarios across anomaly detection, channel performance synthesis, cross-source reconciliation, attribution, incrementality, and reporting.
- 6Build multi-step tasks that force an agent to orchestrate work across several tools, including triage, escalation, and QA.
Requirements5
- 1Hands-on experience owning marketing analytics projects, including diagnosing data conflicts and making tradeoffs.
- 2Fluent use of Google Analytics 4, a product analytics tool such as Amplitude, a CRM like Salesforce, and ad platform reporting.
- 3Prior work designing AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies is a strong advantage.
- 4Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is a plus.
- 5Clear written explanations that show the reasoning behind a decision, not just the decision itself.
Who Should Apply
An analyst who has owned marketing analytics work for years and can articulate why one decision beats another will fit this role. The work suits people who enjoy turning their own expertise into testable scenarios and scored rubrics. Analysts with a managerial background rather than hands-on execution will find this role less suitable. Common reasons candidates score low on fit include failing the sub-domain knowledge screener or writing explanations that are too vague to show strong judgment.
Salary Insight
The rate is $60-$100 per hour, with the final figure depending on experience and performance on the entry screener. This range matches senior marketing analytics consultants who work without close supervision and document their judgment. Pay details are discussed after the initial screening.
