Requirements6

• JD plus active bar admission in a US jurisdiction.
• Two or more years of litigation practice at a firm, in government, or in house.
• Firsthand ownership of motion practice, discovery and procedural strategy, well past document review.
• Clear written English, with the ability to lay out legal reasoning in a form other people can learn from.
• Capacity for at least 10 hours per week on an ongoing project.
• Preferred: first or second chair trial experience, federal court or complex commercial litigation work, or a clerkship and appellate practice background.

Who Should Apply

A litigator with a few years of real motion and discovery work who can explain why an argument wins on procedure, not just why it reads well. A JD and active bar admission in a US jurisdiction are must-haves, along with writing clear enough to teach the reasoning.
