- 2Check AI outputs for factual accuracy, legal soundness, analytical depth, and conformance to professional standards.
- 3Write detailed feedback that pinpoints errors, logical gaps, and opportunities to improve legal responses.
- 4Offer expert judgment on ambiguous or complex edge cases to guide model calibration for nuanced legal issues.
- 5Draft or edit sample legal language and arguments so models better grasp varied litigation and practice scenarios.
- 6Work asynchronously with a cross-functional project team, incorporating iterative feedback and communicating in clear writing.
Requirements7
- 1JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and an active license in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 23 to 15 years of post-JD legal experience, with a strong preference for trial, appellate, or litigation specialists.
- 3Judicial clerkship at the federal or state level, trial or appellate, is highly valued.
- 4Proven legal writing expertise. Law journal editor or published legal author is a plus.
- 5Substantial trial experience, federal court admissions, or appellate practice background strengthens your candidacy.
- 6Demonstrated ability to explain complex legal concepts with clarity, precision, and professionalism.
- 7Prior instruction or teaching in legal education, such as law school faculty, adjunct, lecturer, or fellow, is desirable.
Who Should Apply
Attorneys with 3 to 15 years of post-JD experience, especially trial, appellate, or litigation specialists, who hold a JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and an active license.
