Overview
A remote contractor role for a US-licensed attorney with a focus on commercial real estate litigation. What You'll Do6
- 1Draft genuine litigation products including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery responses in response to changing commercial real estate disputes
- 2Deliver step-by-step work under senior guidance, mirroring partner review processes seen in real practice
- 3Create rubric items alongside drafts that specify criteria for strong responses to opposing counsel
- 4Incorporate feedback from seniors efficiently each round and adjust with minimal redirection
- 5Maintain coherent case theory and litigation posture across consecutive engagement turns
- 6Identify procedural uncertainties, missing information, or factual ambiguities and flag them for senior or team lead
Requirements7
- 1Active or lapsed US attorney license admitted in at least one US jurisdiction
- 2Minimum of 3 years post-JD litigation experience with hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice
- 3Experience handling commercial real estate disputes related to leases, transactions, development, landlord–tenant issues, zoning, or financing/security interests
- 4Proven ability to draft complex litigation documents under direction in commercial real estate matters
- 5Strong English writing skills with precise legal analysis and register
- 6Experience with a variety of matters in a law firm setting (BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market) is helpful
- 7Prior involvement in AI-based legal projects or federal court commercial litigation is a plus

Salary Insight
