What You'll Do7
- 1Draft litigation materials turn by turn, including motions, briefs, demand letters, and discovery requests as assigned.
- 2Shape and refine a coherent case theory throughout the dispute for responses to simulated opposing moves.
- 3Incorporate senior feedback with minimal redirection and iterate drafts to meet project requirements.
- 4Create rubric items with each submission that outline the indicators of a strong legal response.
- 5Flag procedural ambiguities, missing facts, or substantive issues for escalation to project leads.
- 6Follow guidance from senior attorneys for each drafting task to mirror mentor-mentee collaboration in complex litigation.
- 7Deliver work that demonstrates fluency in drafting for commercial contracts, shareholder/LLC matters, or real estate disputes.
Requirements7
- 1Active or lapsed bar admission in at least one US jurisdiction and a Juris Doctor degree.
- 2At least 3 years of post JD litigation experience with hands-on drafting, discovery, and motion practice.
- 3Proven ability to draft effective litigation documents in commercial contract, shareholder/ LLC, or commercial real estate disputes.
- 4Strong legal writing with native English proficiency and solid command of formal legal language.
- 5Ability to work efficiently to defined specifications and integrate feedback promptly.
- 6Experience in a law firm setting (BigLaw, boutique, or mid-market) is preferred.
- 7Experience with multiple matter types in listed practice areas, AI model training or evaluation, or federal court practice is a plus.
